David Austin's
My early years were in St. Louis, Missouri, where I first played with a trumpet man, Bob Danzig, one of Miles Davis' mentors. I then worked in Paris, with Chet Baker, at the famous "CHAT QUI PECHE" club before returning to study at the Berkeley School of Jazz in Boston.
I have played every type of gig imaginable and have taught piano improv at the Stanford Jazz Workshop. From my interest in production, I created DIAMOND AUDIO PRODUCTIONS, an affordable music production service for jazz, classical, and children's music. My goal in life is to become the best possible player, and to keep producing music of spiritual value
